Frank & Oaks - Montreal, Thanks Eh

Fashion For Less, And Yes Its From Canada

Recently I stumbled across a great find for those of you who want to look fashionable but have a small budget. This magnificent answer comes in the form of Montreal based fashion house Frank & Oak. This is a company whose main philosophy is to provide the highest quality of clothing at the lowest price, while still paying attention to detail. Whether its "the subtle engraving of a Frank & Oak button" or "entirety of our personalized experience", Frank & Oak are dedicated to bring to their customers a full service detailed shopping experience to the everyday man with a modern budget.

What is most impressive about this company is a service they provide called the Hunt Club. The Hunt Club is basically the answer to online shopping for us guys. I know, like myself, most guys don't really like online shopping and, aside from that, we hate the hassle of having to return things. What the Hunt Club does is gives us men a prime solution to both these situations. With the Hunt Club customers can choose three items of their choice and have them delivered to there residence. They have five days to try on the items and choose whether to keep them or return them free of charge on shipping. All you pay for is the items you keep and deliver is free both ways. Its free to join and I think a nation of well dressed gentlemen would appreciate this.

So next time you feel you need to expand your wardrobe I suggest that you visit www.FrankandOak.com or download the mobile app on your smart phone or tablet. They have everything from shirts, pants, blazers and jackets to ties, travel bags and athletic wear. And everything is very affordable. I'm about to order some blazers so look out for more posts on Frank and Oak apparel.

Chuck Taylor Gang

The Perfect Sneaker For Any Occasion

Now if anyone knows me they know that if I'm not wearing loafers, shoes or running sneakers you can find me in a pair of All-Star Converse. Now most would think that converses are just cheap sneakers and not to be bothered with. Well those people couldn't be more wrong. Converse have a bold history and is one of the most respected unbranded brands. What I like most about Converse is the fact that they are never scared to team up with big fashion houses like John Varvatos. Recently Converse has teamed up with super fashion house Maison Martin Margiela to debut a new Converse set to release in coming months.
Set to come out for the fall at the price of $200 these beauties are bound to turn heads for its innovative style. Who knew something as simple as white paint could renovate a timeless classic. Another honorable mention comes from Converse Japan who just released their Converse Denimpants Hi.
This is just another innovative rendition of the classic sneaker.

I suggest that you pair up your converse sneakers with some nice chinos and a small collar dress shirt. Try not to match your outfit to your converse (unless they are black or white), leave the matching to your accessories and outer layers. For example your belt, watch strap, blazer or whatever that may apply to your ensemble.

Till Next Time.

Meet The Browns

You Own Black Shoes, Now Buy Some Brown Ones

Its fall so I suggest that if you don't own a pair of brown lace-ups or loafers find you a pair asap. Brown shoes compliment any suit or dress pants. It gives your outfit a warm fall feeling to it and they usually get better with age. Some good pairs are made by Aldo, Cole Haan and Ralph Lauren. For those looking for shoes on the higher end I suggest shoes by Gucci, Salvatore Ferragamo, or Louis Vuitton. Don't let the season past you by before you nab a pair or two

Don't Just Wear A Shirt & Tie

Layers, Layers, Layer

This Fall Its All About Layers For Your Suit

Personally I feel a suit really isn't a suit unless it has three pieces to it. Unless its summer, and you live in Miami. With that said layers are everything to a suit. But how about you trade in that vest for a nice toggle button sweater like the one seen about. Try this out this fall and you're sure to get some compliments.
